"Wow" From We All To You For The New Month
HOW I MASTURBAT*D 4 TIMES DAILY FOR 7 YEARS & HOW I GOT DELIVERED MUST READ
Someone sent this to us to publish on FIM's MULTIMEDIA blog through our official mail @ cusancikonventgroup@gmail.com ,
I’m writing this to share my experience with teenagers and adults on mine experience with
masturbation addiction, because this has become a problem for many teenagers and adults, both male and female. I almost ruined my life with
incessant masturbation, i do it 2-4 times daily, i derived pleasure in engaging in it not knowing I was making my life miserable. I started masturbating at the Age of 16 after
watching a pornography and I wanted to know if i’m matured enough to Erupt. I masturbated for
good 7 years, I enjoyed doing it, it was quickie, I masturbate to ease myself when i’m restless, unhappy or tired. I was terribly addicted to it, i do it in the bathroom, in my room, or anytime i’m lonely. I enjoyed it most especially when i’m watching pornography, it was sweet, i didn’t have a girlfriend, i was battling low self esteem.
It was crazy, it was fun, especially when you’re about to Erupt but immediately you Erupt, you become
remorsed for doing it. Masturbation addiction made me loose so many things in life, i was stagnated, disappointed, delayed to success,
difficulties began to set in, it almost ruined my s*x life. It affected my health because i was always weak,
i was having heart burn, burning discomfort in my abdomen region, ache in my joystick region. It affected me academically, financially, morally and spiritually as a christian. I needed to stop it cos I
was already seeing the repercussion, it was so hard for me to stop it, I tried praying and fasting
but it didn’t work, I googled some articles online on how to stop masturbation, it worked, yes it worked but I found myself doing it again after 2 months of abstinence. Well, according to some medical doctors, it is very healthy to masturbate, while according to some pastors, it is a sin, while
some pastors say it is not a sin.
Whichever way, masturbation is addictive and most people do abuse it. I abused it, it wasn’t easy to stop but it deals with your mindset. It can be good to masturbate once or twice in a month but it can be very dangerous if you masturbate everyday.
Once you start masturbating, it becomes hard for you to stop, for me, i think those who masturbate
every time are perverts.
Masturbation is still safer than s*x, but it ruins you psychologically when you become an addict. So many became an addict like me, some are still an addict, while some will be an addict. If you are feeling guilty after masturbation, it means you know it is bad.
Masturbation is good but when you become an addict, then it is bad. I’m sure you want to stop it but you just don’t know how to stop it, i went
through a lot when i needed to stop it, it takes the grace of God to stop chronic masturbation, if possible deliverance. For me, i’ll rather advice you to masturbate than to visit a prostitute, but believe me abstinence is the best. Masturbating every time is evil..
I cried, I prayed and asked God for forgiveness, promised never to do it again, but I will come back and do it. I became frustrated, I couldn’t speak to anyone about it, whom do I talk to? that i’m addicted to masturbation? God forbid! I was
only naive and foolish, speaking to someone about it was the best, not just anybody, speak to someone who is sane and sage. I remember I told someone about it and the silly advice the person gave me was, ”masturbation reduces the risk of
prostrate cancer”, like seriously? Is that what I need? Watch who you talk to.
So many teenagers and youth masturbates 2-3 times daily, which is bad, you’re a pervert if you do this. It would affect you negatively.
How I got delivered from masturbation wasn’t easy at all,
some of the 5 major steps i took.
1. I Talked To Someone/Counsellor: I was having difficulties on how to stop this, i decided to talk to someone/counsellor, to seek an advice. They guided me, led me in righteous path. You could go to rehab center or groups, they are willing to help you. I don’t know if speaking to a pastor is advice able cos sometimes, things like this is not only about deliverance and prayers or even fasting. You can pray, fast about it but you should also consult someone or people that are going to help you fight it. You can’t fight masturbation addiction by yourself, talk to someone, don’t be ashamed to talk to someone. Chronic masturbation is still better than visiting prostitutes regularly, so speak to someone who you think that can help you.
2. I Got Myself Busy: Being idle is a disease, when i didn’t have anything to do, i tried to read some books, bible, watch movies, visit a friend, i
wasn’t alone. Cos when you’re alone, that thought comes straight into your mind. I’ll advice you to just sleep. In my own case, during this
stage, i discovered my writing talent, i also discovered Naijaloaded and I was inspired to start a blog of mine, i started a Fiction & Non-Fiction
Stories blog. I got busy and addicted to my blog and writing stories, my blog now has over 5 million views out of being idle and abstinence
from masturbation. Find something to do, don’t be idle….
3. Deleted Pornography From My Phone And My Life: This is important, to me i still prefer you stay away from browsing and camera phones, stick to non browsing phones, phones that don’t have video camera and start using Nokia torchlight for some period. I was adviced to stay away from
browsing phones, i had to use a non browing phone for a long time. Although, its not easy to do people on doing away with browsing and
camera phones, but i’ll advice you to delete every pornography pictures and videos on your phone and laptop, like i did.
4. Stopped Visiting Pornography Sites Or Groups: There are so many p**n sites, i ran away from them, i stopped visiting them. I remember i
used to bookmark them, i had over 20 hottest and favourite porn sites, i had to delete them. Also, i know there are some p**n groups on BBM,
Whatsapp and other social media platform, please stay away for a long time. I stayed away from
them and i survived..
5. I Stayed Away From Sexchat or phone intimacy: This is one of the most horrible thing to do, s*x chatting, phone intimacy is a gateway to masturbation, is it possible to s*x chat and not
masturbate? Is it possible? No, it not possible, the worst part is the s*x chatting on Skype, or any video calling media. Its dangerous,
exchanging Unclad pictures and all that, i just had to stop all of it. You also have to stop it as well.
You just have to fight like I fought mine. If you don’t have a girlfriend or s*x mate, i’ll advice you to masturbate once or twice in a month to ease yourself or better still don’t masturbate at all if you’re the pervert type.
This is my little story on masturbation addiction, how I became a survivor, how I fought it. I’m sure you can get some helpful tips from my testimony.
Don't mind your also sharing this testimony of mine on all your social media contacts thanks.

A great man once said " The youths are the future of a Nation. In their tender and loving hands, the future of the Nation is entrusted . In their innocent hearts , the pride of the Nation is enshrined. On their development, the salvation of the Nation is dependent".
hardship as we continually struggle for gainful employment. We know you have faith in our ingenuity, capability and creativity, that is why you promised during your campaign to empower the youths and to create jobs for them.

President Muhammad Buhari Please Hear Our Cry
A cry from a Nigerian to the Federal Government of Nigeria to President Muhammad Buhari Face Of Environment Events News "FEE NEWS". At the inception, my heart trembled for the outbreak of the rumour that went viral on social networks, sent to "FIM's MULTIMEDIA BLOG MAIL" by NIS 2015 recruits personnel in a state who pleaded to remain UN disclose, that their induction programme has being placed on suspension by the Service .
A flash stream
#NIS2015RecruitsTrueTales. Blood, sweat, tears, joy, laughter, bonds! Let's not create a generation that would lose faith in Nigeria.
To me, I still don't believe until 24th of August , 2015 when the Comptroller of Immigration Service disseminated the information to us simultaneously that the 3months induction programme has been suspended base on a circular sent from NIS Headquarters Abuja, stating that 1,600 officers were recruited into the service "illegally".
How could this be?
The recruitment exercise was advertised and as it was known that majority of the youth gallivanting around are jobless and those not jobless still seek for greener pasture, interested youth all over the federation obtained the application form online.
C.B.T examination was conducted in some designated areas across the Nation, I noticed virtually every applicant with South-West home address did their C.B.T examination at Charms City Plaza in Lagos, those in the Norther part of the Country did theirs in Abuja while Port Harcourt and Enugu was also a centre for the South-southerners.
I worked In Niger State but my name appeared in the South West region because I used my home address in filling the form online.
I got an e-mail from NIS that I passed the C.B.T and I have been shortlisted for the oral interview and physical exercise designated to hold in my State Command. I went as instructed by the Service and I was amazed that a recruitment exercise particularly at the federal level could be this free and fair. My height and chest were measured, checked my knees, tested my sight and my ability to hear clearly. Series of questions were asked by the officials based on the area of study at school and also series of verifications were carried out on all certificates presented that very day.
I left for Niger State the second day hoping to receive a reply to my application from the Service . To my surprise,I received a mail days after that due to my performance in the C.B.T exam, physical examination and oral interview,I have been given a provisional appointment into the Nigeria Immigration Service and am expected to come for my provisional appointment letter at Nigeria Immigration Training School, Orlu, Imo State(NITSOL). I immediately called some of my friends that we applied together but it was painful that I was the only fortunate applicant shortlisted out of twelve that applied among my friends.
It wasn't easy gathering money, travelling to Niger state, Imo State and Rivers State especially during the period of fuel scarcity in the country. It took me a week before I could get my appointment letter because of the proper scrutinization exercise by the NIS officials on everyone's certificates before issuing out the appointment letters.
Once you get the letter, your posting letter follows and we were all posted to our respective Commands in our States of origin (NIS) for 3months induction.
I quickly resigned from my place of work and came down to the South-West to commence my induction programme as stated in the posting letter.
The induction started on the 1st of June , 2015 which encapsulated and encompasses lot of rigorous exercises like early morning jogging (25km) starting from 6:00am even though reporting by 5:00am every day before the commencement, parade and drills, fatigue, just to mention but a few.
Most of the recruit have resigned from different places of work, rented apartments, some have even borrowed money so as to survive pending the time we start getting salary, some spent heavily on transportation, feeding, buying of induction materials (white socks, white vest, white shorts, white tennis e.t.c)
Our passing out parade has been scheduled for 1st of September , 2015 at which we have been parading under the sun and in the rain, drills from the instructors and so on. We have gotten our accoutrements and prepared our minds towards that glorious day when the heart breaking circular came that after 3months far spent with rigorous exercise during the induction, we were placed on suspension.
Am writing on behalf of myself and other 2015 NIS recruits across the Nation that the Federal Government should please have mercy on us and consider the 3months we have spent (money spent on feeding and transportation for that 3months, some that have forfeited their jobs to secure this (recruitment), time spent and others).
We implore the Federal Government and President Muhammed Buhari not to cancel the recruitment exercise , lift the suspension and restore us back to service on time. Please help post this on your blog at "FIM's MULTIMEDIA"

How I Was S*x Drugged By Man I Met Through BBM
The role of the social media in building relationships and businesses cannot be overemphasised. But the negative aspects seem to be growing with mixed reactions after the death of Cynthia Osokogu who was killed by friends she met on social media. Since the case of Cynthia went viral,
ladies who were before now ashamed to share their experiences in the hands of bad guys have started talking.
Below is the near-death experience a young lady had with a man who was her BBM friend:
I am a girl who has fears, beliefs,
reservations and just your regular typical Nigerian girl. This past few weeks has been one hell of a game for me. I have really been unsettled and I thought I share this story with you. When Cynthia (the lady killed in the hotel room in Festac, Lagos) surfaced on the internet and various news media, I was scared and it brought back a whole lot of memories to me and also served as and eye opener. Many people castigated and criticised Cynthia (may her gentle soul rest in peace), but my point is, it could have
been anybody, anybody at all.
We have met people through various social media. Some have ended up well, some have not but with painful memories. To cut the long story short, let me kindly share with you my encounter with social media
especially the very popular Blackberry Messenger (BBM).
I am a graduate and currently serving in Kaduna. I could have runced it, but I needed somewhere to clear my head and forget about my ugly encounter. Here is my story.
I happened to have a married man as a contact on my BBM. He had been asking me out for over six months and I refused to date him. As time went on, he invited me
clubbing with him when his wife was
outside the country, and I went with him all night. We spent most of the night at Swe bar, Lagos.
I also met his clique of friends, married as well with their various mistresses. We had ‘mad’ fun. After all the clubbing and drinking, he lodged me in a hotel somewhere in Obalende. I felt sort of safe with him. We did not have s e’x, but he made sweet love to me and touched me in
places I had never ever imagined.
He kissed me passionately but guess what? He did not have s e’x with me. We did all sorts but there was no penetration. So, to an extent, I trusted he was a good person to be around with. I did not know that it
was all part of the plan. He gave me N10,000 and put me in a cab to go home the next morning. We kept
talking and chatting and sending na k’ed pictures to each other and he told me naughty things of how he wanted to whisper things in my ear, I blushed. We didn’t see for two weeks and that was because his wife just came back from Turkey.
One faithful evening, he pinged me that he was organising a beach party/boat cruise and that he would love for me to be his date and that he wanted to open a BBM chat, as a medium for his friends and my friends to interact. I was excited about it, I just wanted to have fun. I was able to get five of my very hot friends.
The BBM group opened and we got
chatting. I also realise that majority of them were married and working in
reputable firms. It was fun and we didn’t mind if they were married, we just wanted to have fun, as well as some other girls apart from my friends in the group.
We chatted exclusively, sent pictures to the BBM group to introduce ourselves, and we had opened group conversations pending the beach party. And as excited as we were, we went shopping for nice s e’xy beach wears.
The D-day finally came, we all assembled at the Lagos Island Boat Club. I was wowed because it was a high class party. We were cruising in a boat loaded with goodies drinks and hot babes, and as well
‘MARRIED MEN’. I did not care, I just said in my mind that I would not roll with married men anymore after this, that for now, all I wanted to do was to catch some fun. After all, I wasn’t paying bills.
We got there, it was a private beach resort. Most of the beach facilities I got to see there were owned by multinational companies. We got out of the boat, and went to where we were partying. It was a duplex made with wood. It was a very nice setting. I felt comfortable because it even had a fence around it separating it from other beach houses around. So, there was
privacy and of course bouncers (heavy looking guys) guarding the place. I said to myself, this must be heaven, I must be dreaming.
Anyways, we felt free with each other because we had been chatting. It was 5:30pm and the party just started. We had drinks flowing from the private bar tender which happens to be owned by one of the
men in the group. Reality struck when I realised that I was feeling dizzy and feeling really funny and light headed. Not only me, but other girls around me too noticed there
was something strange about it.
I was also feeling HORNY as hell! I had been drugged. They monitored us and when they knew the drug had really gone deep into our system, they moved us up into the main beach house. I could still see faces, but was too weak and horny to react.
Mr B, the man who took me clubbing, carried me in his hands like a sacrifice and put me down on the floor just as other men also did with their girls. We were eight in
numbers; 8 girls, 8 guys, and they all
stri*ped us down and had s e’x with us.
I enjoyed it a bit because I was horny. It was a mixed feeling because I cried, I moaned, but I did not know how many times he came into me. He pounded me hard. I was dizzy, but he grabbed me with force. All I could notice was the wedding
ring on his finger. I thought of how wicked and miserable some married can be. How inhuman and heartless they could be. All of them took turns in switching partners and slept with all of us. I passed out. That was the last thing I could remember. I felt
water poured on me. I noticed all the other girls around me too were half na k’ed and some stark na k’ed.
We spent the night at the beach, but the men were no where to be found. I looked round me and all I could see was packs of used condoms. I ran to pick my cloths and possibly raise an alarm. I got dressed, found my phone with an envelope. It contained N16,000 and a note asking us to
take N2000 each for transport. Tears of anger and rage filled my eyes and the girls around me as well. “We were drugged and used like tissue
paper.
I grabbed my phone and noticed a ping came in. I checked my phone and I noticed the BBM group had been deleted, and a message via BBM from MR B came in. He threatened me that if I say a word to
anyone, I would regret it. I told him he was a bastard, and he said try it. A picture came in, several pictures.
In fact, they were pictures of us being nak’ed on the floor. Pictures of the humiliating us but they blurred the faces of the men. In total, I got 20 pictures. I was not myself for a month. I went back to school, I had no one to talk to. The rest of the semester was hell for
me. My CGPA dropped drastically. It was the worst out of the worst result I ever had.
Till today, my friends and I have not
discussed this with anyone, but all I could do when I heard of Cynthia’s story was to narrate my own ordeal anonymously and spread the news, the word, and pray they (ladies who do runs) see it and changed
their ways.
I am now born again. I have given my life to Christ. I fear men so much that I cannot even move close to them. I still have nightmares, but with time, God will strengthen me and I will move on. My advice to single ladies out there is, do not
be desperate for fun. Pray to God to open your eyes of understanding, and pray hard.He who kneels before God will stand before kings and queens.
To all married women, pray hard to God to intervene in your marriages and turn your husbands from bad habits and bad friends. As for me, I do not think I ever want to get
married or date a man again. That chapter has been closed for good in my life.
Please, do not ignore my mail. Please post it. There are a lot of things we ladies need to learn. Please post it on your blog and
save a soul. It could be your friend, sister, cousin, neighbour.
God bless you as you pass it on. To all readers, I do not care if you insult me or rain abuses at me. My job is to share this encounter with you and save you from any mishap. God bless you all. Amen.
DAVID S PARRADANG REACT TO SUSPENSION: PRESIDENT JONATHAN RECRUITED 1600 INTO IMMIGRATION
Jonathan recruited 1600 into Immigration, not Parradang – NIS Senior Officers August 25, 2015 • By FIM's MULTIMEDIA via pmnews ShareTweet+ 1Mail
David Parradang: suspended as Comptroller General Senior officers of the Nigeria Immigration Service
(NIS) has reacted to the suspension of Comptroller- General of Immigration, David Shikfu Parradang, by stating that he did not approve the recruitment of 1,600 officers to the Service. In a statement signed by Comrade S Audu and titled: “A STATEMENT FROM CONCERNED SENIOR
IMMIGRATION OFFICERS” they stated that the immediate past president of Nigeria, Goodluck
Jonathan, constituted a Board that oversaw the recruitment of the officers, noting that, Parradang
did not have the powers to approve such recruitment.
They noted that President Muhammadu Buhari was not properly briefed of the process that led to the failed recruitment, adding that, Parradang was only used as a bait, same as previous Comptroller-Generals. SUBSCRIBE for 24/7 FIM's MULTIMEDIA News Letter.
Read full statement below:
“Still on Suspension of Parradang of NIS…Setting the Record Straight”
The recent suspension of CGI David Shikfu Parradang OFR, mni as the Comptroller-General of Immigration with effect from 21 August 2015, is a
matter that has been generating rhetorics and innuendoes in the information space. It is a development that has set so many tongues wagging and the self-styled puritans who are known for prancing on public issues and hurling uninformed analyses have yet got another assignment on their hands.
But before anybody will be in a haste to take the Service to the guillotine, nay the allegedly “erring” Comptroller-General, we have considered it a deserving duty of overriding public importance to
set the record straight and educate Nigerians on clear position of things.
Nigeria Immigration Service has not been in the news for negative reasons over the years except for details that will be laid bare in
this treatise. The NIS as an entity is under the supervision of the Ministry of Interior through an organ known as Civil Defence, Fire, Immigration and Prisons Board (CDFIPB). For a paramilitary outfit that should enjoy
a reasonable measure of autonomy, the relationship between the NIS and the above mentioned supervisory organ has not been rosy. And this can be traceable to the disgraceful manner successive
Comptrollers-General have left office. Over the years, the major source of conflict is the issues
bordering on recruitment, promotion and posting in the Service. As earlier stated the NIS is one of the agencies under the supervision of the Ministry of Interior, through the CDFIPB.
However, the NIS has a legal instrument (Immigration Act 1963,
reviewed in 2015) that regulates its functions. Whereas the Immigration Act and Immigration manual regulate the daily operational activities of the Nigeria Immigration Service the Board’s Act takes care of
policy matters of all the agencies in the Board such as Prisons, Civil Defence and the Fire Service .
With regards to appointment, promotion and discipline, Section 4(2), CAP 12 Immigration and
Prisons Board Act, LFN of 1986, states thus:
The Board shall have power –
a. To appoint persons to hold or act in all the offices in the affected Services, including power to make
appointments on promotion or transfer and to confirm appointments.
b. To dismiss and exercise other disciplinary control over persons appointed pursuant to paragraph (a) of this subsection. Section 4(3) of this Act however set the clear
limit on the power of the Board in the following words “The power conferred on the Board under
subsection (2) of this section, shall
notwithstanding anything to the contrary in any other enactment,
include the power to appoint and exercise disciplinary control over –
a. The Director (Comptroller-
General) of Immigration; and
b. The Director (Comptroller-
General) of the Prisons Service.
That the recent letter of suspension of the Comptroller General reference CDFIPB/IMM/348/ Vol.I/54 dated 21st August 2015 and signed by
one AA Ibrahim, Director/Secretary is at variance with the letters and intention of the provisions of
section 4(3) of the Board’s Act is not contestable. In the letter the signatory claimed to be directed to
issue the letter by a supposedly superior authority which
normally should be the Presidency but signed the said letter for and on behalf of himself. This is not only curious but quite unusual of Federal Civil Service practice. The whole exercise borders on someone usurping the power he never had to
issue such a letter especially to a chief executive who was appointed by the President and Commander-
in-Chief. Goodluck Jonathan, former President of Nigeria.
To say that the relationship between the NIS and the Board has not been cordial is simply stating the obvious. In the recent past, especially during the tenure of CJ Udeh, OFR, (2005 – 2010), the struggle for the control of the soul of the NIS by the Ministry/Board have been so tense to the extent that
successive Comptroller-Generals virtually struggled to run their offices due to the overbearing interferences of the officials of the Ministry/Board
in the day to day running of the service. At a point, it got to a ridiculous extent that Comptrollers-General of the NIS were requested to submit staff posting order to the Ministry/Board for vetting or reasons best known to them. Any staff deployment exercise especially foreign posting that does not
accommodate at least 70% of the powerful members of the Board/Ministry would not be accepted. Any Comptroller General, who does
otherwise, would be charged with insubordination and improper behaviour to constituted authority
even when it is obvious that the candidates of these powerful Board members are not in any way qualified for such vital deployments.
CJ Udeh’s tenure can be described as the brightest chapter in the annals of NIS relationship with the Board. And this can be attributed to two reasons: the then President and Commander-in-Chief of
the Armed Forces, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, GCFR understood the peculiar dynamics associated with
the administration of the military and paramilitary institutions such as the NIS. He gave the Comptroller-General a clear mandate to
restructure and reposition the Service and went further to complement same with the appointment of Gen. Godwin Abbe (Rtd) as Honorable Minister of
Interior/Chairman of the Board. The truth of the matter is that CJ Udeh wouldn’t have succeeded if he were to be subjected to unnecessary
administrative bottlenecks inherent in the Board.
That a Comptroller-General of the NIS will be expected to get approval from the Board/Ministry to deploy staff literally means that he/she is just a figurehead. That a CGI cannot even effect urgent operational changes and grant media interview
without clearance from the Ministry/Board in 21st century Nigeria is not only laughable, but also at variance with the provision of the Freedom Of
Information Act 2011.
It is no longer news that the Comptroller General of Immigration, David S. Parradang, OFR, mni has
been suspended because of alleged violation of extant laws as enunciated by the CDFIP Board.
What is news however, is that the Board is in a hurry to make Nigerians forget the genesis and
the roles they played in the recruitment debacle of March 15, 2014. However, Nigerians are wise
people; they know the story.
They know that some persons who are still walking free on the streets of this country collected N1000
from each of the over 700,000 Nigerian job seekers in the botched exercise of 15 March, 2014 during
which 15 young Nigerians paid the supreme price with their blood and tens of others got various degrees of injuries. Public outcry rented the whole atmosphere. The senate of the 7th Assembly waded into the matter but because those who swindled the young Nigerians and even killed some in the most
shameful recruitment exercise were so powerful, the senate report never saw the light of the day even up till date. Even the presidential directives
on them to refund the blood money of #1000:00 collected from young job seekers remained ignored.
President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria The Federal Government led by the former President, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR
was shaken to its foundations. A rescue mission was embarked on, upon the realization that some
cronies at the Board have not only swindled these young Nigerians, but also sent them to their early graves for the job they never got.
A Committee known as The Presidential Committee to Assist in Immigration Recruitment was
constituted on 26th March, 2014 by the former President, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR.
The membership of that committee includes;
1. The Chairman Federal Civil
Service Commission
(Chairman)
2. The Permanent Secretary(General
Services) OSGF
3. The Comptroller- General of
Immigration
4. The Representative of the
Inspector General of Police
5. The representative of the DG
Department of State Services
6. The representative of the Corps
Marshal FRSC
7. The representative of the
Commandant General Civil
Defense Corps
8. The representative of the
Controller- General Prisons
9. The representative of the Attorney
General of the Federation
10. The representative of D G,
Federal Character Commission
11. The representative of the Head
of Service
The terms of reference of this Committee as signed by the then Secretary to the Government of the
Federation, Sen. Anyim Pius Anyim includes;
i. To liaise with the Board to confirm
the actual number of personnel to
be recruited
ii. To assist the Board by advertising
the recruitment with a view to
starting the process afresh
iii. To assist the Board by processing
the application, short listing of
potential applicants and
conducting necessary interviews
for the purpose of the recruitment
exercise
iv. To assist the Board by following
all relevant laws, Public Service
Rules and guidelines to
determine successful applicants
and announce their
appointment into the NIS
v. To ensure that three family
members of each deceased
applicant from the aborted
exercise, at least one of whom
should be a female are given
immediate and automatic
appointment
vi. To ensure that all those injured
are given immediate and
automatic appointment in the
NIS.
The Presidential Committee got into action and advertisement for job vacancies was placed in various media platforms. CGI Parradang was neither the chairman of the Committee nor the Secretary but just an ordinary member whose
central concern was to make any useful contributions that would remove the NIS which he headed from public ridicule occasioned by the botched March 15, 2014 recruitment fraud organized and supervised by the Board/Ministry.
The Committee deployed the Computer- Based Test (CBT) option for selection of candidates and this
culminated in the enlistment of about 1600 recruits through a much better process than the botched
March 15, 2014 recruitment exercise. All these were of junior rank of which the enabling laws of
the land (PSR 020103) allow the Comptroller General as the head of the extra ministerial agency to recruit.
The current fight that led to the suspension of the CGI began when the Board called on him to cancel
the entire recruitment exercise done by the presidential committee. He told them clearly that he has no such unilateral power to annul the
outcome of an exercise of that magnitude because other members of the committee need to be consulted.
The real truth about the Board’s position is not unconnected with the fact that the exercise did not allow members of the Board to impose their candidates on the CGI to recruit thereby short changing qualified Nigerians.
The Board/Ministry felt that the CGI, DS Parradang, OFR,mni did not carry them along in the exercise. This is not only strange but very illogical because there was no how the CGI would have nominated the representative of the Board to the Presidential Committee of which he was also a nominated member.
The SINS of CGI Parradang in the court of the Board/Ministry are not unconnected with his consistent calls for the adherence to proper
procedures and practices in the relationship between the Board/Ministry and the NIS. On 27th May, 2015, and towards the end of the last administration, the Board forwarded three different lists of 30 Specially Promoted Officers of the NIS.
The CGI raised opposition to the lists pointing out that his inputs on any of the so called specially
promoted officers were not sought by the Board as required by the Board’s Guidelines on Special
Promotion. In the accompanying letter, signed by AA Ibrahim, the CGI was directed to issue promotion
letters to the eight affected junior personnel implying the Board’s belated recognition that the CGI was supposed to be carried along in the first place.
The letter reads in parts thus; “in the exercise of your delegated responsibility, your are expected to conduct the production and issuance of the individual officers’ letters of promotion” Abba Moro: mastermind of the failed recruitment
Under normal circumstance and in line with Service Rules and CDFIPB Guidelines, Promotion and Discipline of August 2012, which provides in
paragraph ‘C’, of page 20, the CGI was supposed to send briefs on any officer who has demonstrated
uncommon character, exceptional brilliance and conduct worthy of commendation and reward to
the Board for special promotion. The Board neglected this requirement and merely forwarded lists of specially promoted officers they concocted to the CGI for release and publication to affected officers.
The position of CGI Parradang on the special promotion has always been that when officers and men are unduly elevated far ahead their mates and indeed superiors without proven evidence of competence or any justifiable reason (s), especially
in a regimented environment, indiscipline, loss of morale and disaffection would set in and that
may have terrible consequences both to the Service and the larger society. This position especially his
protest letter of 8th June 2015 to the Board on that matter was seriously frowned at by the Board/Ministry marking the genesis of the unfolding
realities of today.
Again on matters of staff posting order and deployment the Board would always want to dictate
for the CGI, who to deploy to where and how in a paramilitary agency under arms where due diligence and professionalism must be strictly
followed in such matters. For instance, in a list of about 46 officers and men recently posted to Foreign Missions, 16 that is about 35% of them were the candidates of Comrade Abba Moro the former Minister/ Chairman of the Board and
almost the same percentage came from officials of the Board/Ministry.
The Board/Ministry overseeing the NIS as constituted today is nothing but a group of businessmen in Public Service whose ‘gods’ must
be appeased before any Comptroller General of Immigration or personnel of NIS can get his/her legitimate privileges. You must bribe your ways to get promoted as a senior officer and you must be highly connected to somebody in the Board to be posted to any “juicy” formations in the NIS.
These among others are the evils that Parradang fought gallantly against the Board. Unfortunately, with their half-truths the Board was able to mislead the Presidency to secure Parradang’s suspension.
The truth about the rot in NIS is that it has nothing to do with Parradang as an individual but the NIS as a
critical stakeholder in the security architecture of the country. In many serious minded countries, the heads of their Homeland/Interior Ministries are usually persons with robust military/ paramilitary background who have acceptable understanding
about how to run any security institution.
Nigeria must begin to think in this direction because former Comptrollers General of the NIS such as SA Dange, RC Uzoma and now DS Parradang got hooked in the dirty traps of the Board/ Ministry.
The result is that the nation suffers for it. That Parradang, a consummate officer and a trained
member of the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) is alleged to have overstepped his boundaries in a service he has worked for over 32 years is keenly watching how this suspension works out. This just scene One, we are waiting anxiously for scene Two.
Your can as well share please.
