Calls on Federal Government and Nigerians attention on their unlawful dispersal and solicits for support in saying #NoToInjustice #NoToGodfatherism

#NoToBackyardReplacement and
maintain the spirit of fighting corruption to it very best without being bias or sentimental.  As a system of Government that campaign in fighting corruption, we must not be corrupt either that is why as Government or Citizens of our great country Nigeria, we must collectively maintain the spirit of

#IStandWithNigeriaImmigration2000 .
This is to call on the entire citizen of of our great Nation Nigeria and Nigeria well wishers across the world environs on how innocent , law abiding citizens and common Nigerians were employed 15 months ago into the Nigeria Immigration Service and were forcefully and unlawfully dispersed as a result treating them with high level of injustice, pains, regrets, trauma under the present administration since 12 months ago with nobody from the administration seriously standing in for them.
If recalled, following the failed Immigration recruitment exercise of 2014 that was cancelled. The federal government set up a constituted presidential committee to assist in Immigration Recruitment which consists of the following :
1) The Chairman Federal Civil Service Commission (Chairman )
2) The Permanent Secretary General of the Federation (OSGF)
3) The Comptroller of Immigration (CGIS )
4) The Representative of the Inspector General of Police
5) The Representative of the DG Department of State Services
6) The Representative of the Corps Marshal (FRSC)
7) The Representative of the Commandant General Civil Defence Corps
8) The Representative of the Comptroller General Prisons
9) The Representative of the Attorney General of the Federation
10) The Representative of DG Federal Character Commission and
11) The Representative of the Head of Service.
Considering this constituted committee above. The then secretary to the Federation Senator Pius Anyim issued and signed the following terms of reference for this committee which are :
1) To liaise with the Board to ascertain the actual number of personnel to be recruited.
2) To assist the Board by advertising the recruitment with a view to starting the process afresh.

3) To assist the board by processing the application, shortlisting of potential applicants and conducting necessary interviews for the purpose of the recruitment exercise.
4) To assist the board by following all relevant laws, public service rules and guidelines to determine successful applicants and announce their appointment into the NIS.
5) To ensure that three family members of each deceased applicants from the aborted exercise, at least one of which should be a female are given immediate and automatic appointment.
6) To Ensure that all those injured are given immediate and automatic appointment into Nigeria Immigration Service.
Running through this processes after  almost a year  this committee announce vacancies which adverts went on from February 9, 2015 . On the website of the Federal Civil Service Commission and on pages of National Dailies.
In Recap
1) Over One million, one hundred and ninety (1.19m) thousands applicants applied for the job.
2) About Four hundred (400,000,00) thousand of these applicants were shortlisted for Computer Based Test simply called CBT which was slated in Regions across the federation and considering the security challenges facing the country as of then,  these applicants have to leave their comfort zone to the regions where their centres falls, even having this in minds some of these youths might never have travelled to some of those regions as of then just to sit for their CBT exams.
3) Over forty five (45,000) thousands of these applicants were congratulated by the constituted body jointly called (CDFIPB) based on their excellent performances in the CBT and Merits which they were asked to go for physical screening and interviews in their individual state of origin.
3) 2000 of these applicants were shortlisted for appointments based on their excellent performances and merits and were asked to go for Documentations, Collection of Appointment Letters, Service Numbers and Posting Letters in :
1) Compass 8 : Kano Training School
2) Compass 6 : Orlu Training School in Imo State
3) Compass 3 : Ahoada Training School in Port Harcourt .
Which exercise lasted for complete whole week starting from 25th May,  2015.
Unfortunately enough the Assistant Superintendent of Immigration ii,  officers were only documented, given Service Numbers, and Posting Letters but were not given Appointments Letters while in Kano rather were told their Appointment Letters would be sent to them in due course as they are undergoing their induction course which till today have not been issued that Appointment Letters but the
Assistant Inspectors of Immigration which are the category of Compass 6 and Immigration Assistants iii whom are they category of Compass 3 were all Documented,  Issued Appointment Letters,  Service Numbers,  and Posting Letters with the exception of those with results issues whom were not given their Appointment Letters but were asked to go to the service headquarters in Abuja for clarification.
At this point they were all asked to resume training with immediate effect.
It is obvious to say they risked their lives traveling to those designated areas different from the training Schools for the computer based aptitude test, documents verification, physical examinations, oral interview, documentation, collection of appointment letters and posting letters which most were operating on a tight budget, but had to make those sacrifices, trips, some were even rubbed while some had various degrees of accidents during the course of journey but endured.
After this, they were posted to their various states command where they underwent rigorous three months induction training course, which involved intense military drills,  firearms training and combatant training.

It was every bit of long and rugged battle for survival as no accommodation were provided, neither was there any provision for stipends for feeding and transportation.
Yet they carry on because of the motivation and hope that they are already part of the service and hoping their remuneration would be paid soon.
Most of them have to survive on loans, a large number of them who were employed previously before their greener job gave off their jobs and positions just for Nigeria Immigration Service and currently made JOBLESS.
It is therefore disheartening to see that despite the fact that they have kept good faith for all these months of training they were unjustly dispersed for no fault of theirs. Their unjust dispersal and suspension came to effect from 20th August, 2015.
Which shows that Nigeria Youths are treated and are still being treated with high disregard and contempt,  like refugees in their own beloved country.  This decision by the service and the ministry of interior to send them home was made without considering the rippling effect it could have on their present,  future and the Nation at large.
Because the have become object of scorn and ridicule in their neighbourhoods and it is important to note that this situation has accounted for untold woes in the lives of their parents which most of whom now take blood pressure medications to steady themselves and stay alive, as even two among the victims have lost their lives

now making the number #NigeriaImmigration2000 to #NigeriaImmigration1998 .
It is laughable to say that the service complained of lack of adequate manpower to man our great country porous borders and to provide the necessary drive for the Nigeria Immigration Service but ironic to note that nothing has been done to recall these young, vibrant and technical savvy recruits unbridled with innovative ideas and enthusiasm.
Calling to attention again, these youths are no longer civilians because with blood, sweat, tears and rigorous training which have been induced in them the paramilitary life resulting from the rigorous training the pass through and the countless training on handling of firearms, many secrets of the service that was exposed to them.
As a Nation and Government are we expecting these youths to go back to street and become hoodlums, thugs or delinquents especially in the period of global security challenges and terrorism trending now ?
Are they expected to use what they learnt against our country environs?
They truth be said these youths are obedient , law abiding, patriotic citizens based on results drawn from their level of professionalism ,calmness and discipline when they protested twice at the National Assembly and Twice at the Ministry of Interior.

And are really ready to serve their father nation and mother land in seeing the country as a Nation progress in Positive growth and development to align with the world environs.
They got these job on merits and would not want to que back to unemployed title in the street again that once threatened their lives, goals and ambitions.
We need to inculcate this in our minds as readers or Government of this great Nation these youths or
FIMEs Multimedia as Advocate for Sustainable Development or Activist are in No way belongs to any political party to tarnish the image of any Government, they youths and FIMEs Multimedia team are Nigerians and wish well for our great country Nigeria and the present administration.
Like we asked before :
- Is this fair to a nation source as Nigeria to be described as a Nation with Government that don't care for her youths welfare?
- Is this the Government of Change we all glamoured for ?
- We don't want to believe the government that promised her youths Job Opportunities and Employment during campaign now are the same Government taking away Jobs from her Youths.
- What happened to equity and fairness?
- The former President set up this committee to assist in immigration recruitment exercise following the tragic recruitment exercise and it is therefore binding on the Nigeria government .
- If there were irregularities is it the fault of the recruits ?
- Why did nobody fault the exercise as of that time in the last administration at inception?
- Why were they allowed to go through all this stages involved?
- Why would they be employed, trained and suspended?
- Is it to give room to illegal hiring of children of cronies to replace them?
- Is it because they were employed during former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan?
Because it is very important for us all to note that the employment was not by former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan but by the Federal Republic of Nigeria and binding on the Nigeria Government irrespective of who emerged as President. There is no vacuum in government it's in continuum process .
- When would their right be reinstated?
First applicants were betrayed by the Nation on March 15 the 2014 with the tragic recruitment exercise that was cancelled and 2000 Shortlisted, Verified, Qualified , Employed, Trained and Unjustly Dispersed Youths again on August 20th, 2015.
Patriotism comes from a country watching her citizens back.
- A Pain to One is a Pain for All .
- It Might be you tomorrow !
- Parents it might be your children tomorrow !!
- Families it might be your relation, Siblings tomorrow !!!
Share in the Pain, Trauma and Suppression of these Youths.
